Wife said she thought the Evo’s brakes needed to be changed. Bought parts, jacked it up and have 50% left all around. I guess it is a good opportunity to check fluid levels and rotate the tires.

You are a lucky man to have a wife who will drive a Evo.

Man, I do not see many of those around any more. Did they all grenade? The attrition is astounding.

I talked to one of my friends who used to work with me on base, and I found out that her husband’s Evo was running now. There is a non running Eclipse in the garage though. But the Evo is running again.

I’m lucky on a number of levels. When we had kids we swapped DDs. She mostly drives the Evo and I take the Mini to work.

Most were killed by owners who didn’t know what they were doing. They are stout cars if your not beating in them. 178k miles and it doesn’t leak a drop of anything. Original clutch as well.

Wow. Awesome! I rode in one at my first autocross, it was quite a ride.

It is a lot of fun to drive. It just does exactly what you want it to.
